We build our tide clocks to last, and we stand behind them for as long as you own one.
What’s Covered
For the life of your clock, we cover:
- The tide movement, if it stops working or keeps poor time due to a defect.
- The clock face, if it warps or fades.
- On LED models, the LED lights and controller, if they stop working due to a defect.
This warranty applies to clocks purchased directly from Tidal Timepieces, whether on tidaltimepieces.com, through our Etsy shop, or in person at a market or festival, as well as clocks purchased from one of our retail partners. It covers the original owner, including anyone who received the clock as a gift.
What’s Not Covered
- Broken glass or damage from drops, impact or accidents
- Water damage or outdoor use
- Batteries
- On LED models, the companion app, which is provided by a third party, and any power adapter or cable damaged by misuse
- Normal tide adjustment. Tide clocks follow an average tide cycle and may need occasional resetting to match your local tides. This is how all tide clocks work and is not a defect.
Shipping
During the first year after purchase, we cover shipping both ways. After the first year, you ship the clock to us, and we repair it and ship it back to you free.
A New Look, On Us
When your clock comes in for warranty service, you can choose any current design for the replacement face at no charge.
How to Make a Claim
Contact us with your order number or proof of purchase, such as an Etsy order, a receipt from one of our retail partners, or a card statement or receipt from an in person purchase, along with a short description of the issue and a photo if possible.
